What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

pH stands for potential hydrogen which indicates how acidic or alkaline the substance is. The lower pH indicates how acidic substance is and higher pH indicates how alkaline substance is.As baby skin is very sensitive and delicate if we use high or low pH product baby skin get rash or some infection so for baby It is necessary to use product which has pH 5.5
