What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?

When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

Skin of the baby use to sensitive, and product for application also to be genuine and authentic. Since, I am a biochemist so I can understand about the impact of chemicals used in product. No doubt Sebamed is the product which can we used blindly.

I have been a loyal consumer of Sebamed for all of baby products till date and I find it hard or next to impossible to switch to any other brand for my baby. The ingredients and the products themselves are so baby friendly that I have recommended this to my entire network of people . Kudos!!!

I've tried many baby skincare products from different brands which did not suit my baby's sensitive skin. It caused dryness and rashes all over her body. Then I switched to Sebamed which has pH 5.5 especially made for baby's sensitive skin and trust me my baby's skin has become healthy, so soft and plump. I am never going to switch to any other brands. I am a very big fan of Seba Med baby skin care products now.

Sebamed Baby Shampoo is a wonderful product! Its gentle formula leaves our baby's hair soft and clean, without any irritation. We love the peace of mind that comes with using a product that's both effective and safe for our little one's delicate scalp.
Highly recommended.
