What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?
When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

doc recommend this . and I suggested it to many.. best thing about baby soap is ..it's tears free.. my baby never cried while washing the face..
when she was born for a week I had used other brand.. later switched to sebamed.. main reason was I couldn't see my baby cry

pH 4.5 to 6 is considered as normal in every healthy person. So ideally and mostly 5.5 pH of skin is found in healthy babies.
For the above reason we should select baby products with pH 5.5
