What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?

When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

Babies skin are sensitive and can easily get affected by alkaline products so using balanced pH formula like Sebamed is worth and can give a better skin to babies in future.

sebamed product have been evolved by dermatologists to meet yr skins certain needs.for example traditional soap may help clean u,bt it has a ph between9 to 10 which is very alkaline for babies sensitive skin, whereas sebamed baby products have PH 5•5which help grow the acid mantle necessary to protect the baby delicate skin

Skin’s pH acts as a protective barrier because of the acid mantle
Babies are born with a skin pH value of 7
pH value 5.5 is what we need for our babies.
Any pH value other than 5.5 can severely damage sensitive skin.

To protect & maintain your baby’s smooth, supple skin, all Sebamed products ensure a strict sustainability of the pH value 5.5 and since day one I am using sebamed for my baby.

baby's skin does need 5.5 ph , to balance the moisture and suppleness in the skin, also keeping it soft and healthy . this keeps the baby skin same throughout the day n avoid dryness.
mother's need not worry to reapply the lotions as its moisturized whole day.
