What pH Value One Should Look For While Choosing a Baby Care Product?

When a baby is born the skin pH is 7 unlike adult's healthy skin which has a pH of 5.5. Moreover, the baby’s skin is 20% thinner and very delicate hence needs specialized care. Using alkaline baby skin and hair care products with a pH >7 even if they are natural can damage the protective barrier, leading to skin dryness and roughness and might lead to increase in skin infections.Tell us what do you think about using pH 5.5 products for your baby's healthy skin.Gratification - 3 Lucky Winners to get a SebaMed Gift Hamper worth Rs. 800

pH 5.5 is ideal for baby's delicate skin. My baby boy had dry flaky skin on his legs and it healed after using Sebamed cream. I am using Sebamed products for my baby since his birth. It nourish and protects baby skin.

pH plays a very important role in everyone's life.but in baby life it is so much important because they are very sensitive and new to every thing like environment ,things n all .so we should maintain the pH of their body to choose the right product which maintain their pH value which is 7 .I used most of the products which help my baby to maintain its pH value

We have to be very careful when it comes to usage of Soaps, shampoos and other creams on baby skin since it's very sensitive and will react very easily. So choosing the required product and its pH value is very very important. So standard pH value preferred for baby skin is 5.5 and will avoid unnecessary risk of getting itching issues and other allergies. I am regular user of sebamed products and I am very much satisfied with it. For adults also, sebamed products are really effective.
