My baby\'s summer routine:
The day begins with lots of snuggles, followed by sponging her face with soft washcloth to wipe away any night sweat and give a fresh start to her morning.
This is followed by a gentle massage with Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil.
Next comes a relaxing bath with Sebamed body wash and shampoo. After moisturising with Sebamed body lotion, the little one is ready for a nap in airy cotton clothes that keep her sweat-free and comfortable.
To avoid heat rashes, we avoid swaddling for long hours. And when stepping out in the sun, we ensure that the little one wears full sleeves and full pants made of cotton to prevent direct exposure to the summer sun.

My daughter is now 9 years old. So her skin care routine has changed now. But when she was a newborn I often used warm water . I keep water under the sun in a blue bucket for at least one one. Just before bath I massage her body with cold pressed coconut oil. it was followed by cleaning of the ear, neck , armpit and genital area with a baby wipe. I refrained from using soap regularly, but on alternate days. After the bath I wiped her body with a soft cotton \'gamcha\'. During the peak summer season I dusted her body with \'Candid Dusting Powder\'. I made it a point to change her clothes as frequently as possible to protect her from prickly heat. Now I allow her to use mild cream and occasionally sun\'s screen if it happens to go out in scorching sun .
