Bath them less...more water more skin dryness. Babies will loose the natural essential oils from their skin by using more water and soaps.

There are many things to look after always for baby's skin but some points need special attention like:
1. daiper rashes are common in rainy season which can be minimised by giving more daiper free time and properly applying rash cream.
2. we should do all possible things to keep our baby away from mosquito bites.
3. wash their cloths properly. i used to put dettol to dip their cloths after wash.
4. house hygiene is very important.

Follow a proper bathing routine. ...
Use a gentle and good moisturizing lotion. ...
Give regular massage to the baby. ...
Avoid using scented products. ...
Avoid the baby's exposure to direct sunlight. ...
Manage diaper rash and eczema
after bath, dry baby thoroughly, paying special attention to skin folds like the underarms, neck, behind the knees, and genitals. Ensure that you pat dry and don't rub the baby's delicate skin. You can use a light moisturizer after this, opt for a natural which is one suitable for babies.

Hello,

As recommended by Aadvika's Dr we use all sebamed products as below:

1.Massage before bath with her regular oil.
2.Bath with milky feel sebamed soap.
3.After wipe use sebamed body lotion as a moisturizer in morning as well as bedtime.(it keeps her skin soft and rashes free)
4. Cleaning her thrice a day while using sebamed powder.

Bit costly bt can't compromise with ma baby's health I too recommend "Sebamed Products"

taking care of baby skin is very essential especially during the monsoon season.
1) mosquito bites are very common during this season. so house should be extremely clean to keep mosquitoes away.
also to protect my baby's skin ... while taking her out .. I use fabric roll on over her clothes.

2) clean your hands including nails clean as they are the career for infections in monsoon.

3) make baby wear warm cotton clothes

4) give baby diaper free times as much as possible

5) use suitable oil for baby's private parts. make them clean and moisture free. I use coconut oil for my baby.

Taking care of baby's skin during the rainy season requires special attention and precautions. Here are some skincare tips to keep your baby's skin healthy and protected:

Maintain hygiene: Ensure that your baby's skin is always clean and dry. Gently clean their skin with a mild baby cleanser and warm water. Pat dry with a soft towel, paying special attention to areas prone to moisture buildup, such as skin folds.

Use a gentle moisturizer: Moisturizing is crucial during the rainy season to prevent dryness caused by the humidity. Opt for a gentle and hypoallergenic baby moisturizer that is free from harsh chemicals and fragrances. Apply a thin layer of moisturizer after bathing your baby to lock in moisture.

Protect against dampness: Rainy weather can lead to increased dampness, which can cause irritation and rashes on your baby's delicate skin. Use a moisture-absorbing powder or a baby antifungal powder in the diaper area and skin folds to prevent diaper rash and fungal infections.

Dress appropriately: Choose breathable, lightweight, and loose-fitting clothes for your baby. Cotton fabrics are ideal for rainy weather as they allow air circulation and help absorb excess moisture from the skin. Avoid dressing your baby in tight or synthetic fabrics that can trap moisture and heat, leading to skin irritation.

Diaper care: Change your baby's diapers frequently to prevent prolonged exposure to wetness. Use high-quality diapers that are absorbent and offer good leakage protection. Apply a diaper rash cream or petroleum jelly as a protective barrier before putting on a fresh diaper.

Protect from mosquitoes: Rainy seasons often bring an increase in mosquito activity. To protect your baby from mosquito bites, use a mosquito net over their crib or stroller, dress them in long-sleeved clothing, and use a baby-safe mosquito repellent as recommended by a pediatrician.

Avoid direct exposure to rain: While it can be tempting to let your baby enjoy the rain, direct exposure to rainwater can wash away the natural oils from their skin and make it more vulnerable to dryness and irritation. Limit their exposure to rain and make sure to dry them thoroughly if they do get wet.

Maintain room temperature: The rainy season may come with fluctuations in temperature and humidity. Ensure that your baby's room is comfortably cool and well-ventilated. Use a humidifier if the air becomes too dry, or a dehumidifier if it becomes excessively humid.

Stay hydrated: Keep your baby well-hydrated by offering frequent breastfeeding or formula feeding. The increased humidity can cause babies to sweat more, so it's important to replace the lost fluids.

Remember, every baby's skin is unique, so it's important to observe your baby's skin closely and adapt these tips to suit their specific needs.
