During the rainy season, there are specific skin care considerations that can help protect infants from potential issues caused by increased humidity and moisture. Here are some tips:

1. Keep skin dry: Due to the higher humidity, make sure to dry your baby's skin thoroughly after bathing or being exposed to rain.

2. Use a gentle umbrella or rain cover: When taking your baby outside during rainy weather, use an umbrella or rain cover for the stroller to shield them from getting wet.

3. Dress appropriately: Choose lightweight, breathable, and quick-drying clothing for your baby to prevent discomfort and skin irritation.

4. Diaper rash prevention: Diapers may become damp more frequently during the rainy season. Change them promptly to prevent diaper rash and use diaper rash creams if necessary.

5. Avoid wet or damp areas: Keep your baby away from wet or muddy surfaces to prevent skin infections and irritation.

6. Hydrate adequately: Despite the cooler weather, ensure your baby stays well-hydrated by continuing to offer breast milk or formula regularly.

7. Avoid crowded places: During the rainy season, crowded places may increase the risk of infections. Try to limit your baby's exposure to such environments.

8. Clean toys and surfaces: Regularly clean and disinfect your baby's toys and play areas to prevent the spread of germs.

9. Monitor for skin issues: Keep an eye out for any skin changes or irritations during this season and consult a pediatrician if you notice anything concerning.

By following these tips, you can help ensure that your baby's skin stays healthy and protected during the rainy season. Remember that each baby's skin is different, so it's essential to observe how your child responds to the weather and adjust your skin care routine accordingly.

I am a big fan of Sebamed products,I have been using Sebamed products for both my kids. More than 6 years I have been using Sebamed now I'm expecting my 3rd baby definitely going to continue. Sebamed is really soft and gentle on babies skin.
🌧️During monsoon we definitely need to take care of our babies very well, kids may got infected quickly this is the season of diseases.
Need to cover our babies with soft and gentle clothes.
Use mild detergent to wash their clothes and make sure to dry the clothes tharoughly.
Use baby soaps and wash which has only PH balance 5 or below to protect their skin.
Use gentle Baby shampoo.
Use baby oils before taking bath and use little hot water to make their body warm after that use a good body cream or lotion to protect babies skin from dryness.
