How to make kids eat healthy food?

you can cook junk food more healthier at home which I mostly do..my daughter who was crave for junk food ..she loves to eat both home food and home made junk food too..Hope it would help u..

i suggest as per my experience that there is no harm in giving junk food if the quantity is minimal, if he is already taking it , u can not just totally remove from his mind and taste buds, it's like when my kid ask for choclate i give him one or half inch of choclate that too in bowl n say this much is good but if u ask more it will have no benifits, chips also just 4 to 5 pieces in bowl, this he takes once or twice a week.. 2- make home cook food more interesting, eg- make sparrow shape chapati, simple cut it in easy sparrow shape after rolling it or whatever he likes, or heart & triangle shape.. 3- make him watch and observe when u cook his food , i allow my kid to put salt , turmeric etc in bowl, which I later add it in his food while he is watching it, he just enjoys taking it out for me, cut vegetables infront of him and tell its benefits for skin eyes body brain muscles etc...there are many more things too.. hopefully this will help

Better to stop junk food completely. It shouldn't be at home. Let him eat healthy food independently. Give fruits, nuts, etc, let him eat as he likes. If he wants to just play, let him do so. This works with my little picky eater.

it's difficult to change in a single take.

first we should avoid eating junk in front of them, suppose if they are asking any junk food like ice cream, cake or burger.
try to prepare it at home by using healthy ingredients. there are lots of healthy baking videos.

slowly they will get adopted to the healthier version.

Tell him nutrition value of eating healthy food in a story way or by showing pictures of fruits & veggies as he must have got such books or toys now for learning.So he will start eating when he knows the value of such eatables foods.

try to make healthy food fun for them ,try different recipes and sometimes add in things they like ,making unhealthy items with healthy substitutes

Don't worry too much, you can try to give more of tasty fruits like litchi,mango etc.

it is us who give them junk food..stop giving he may have problem one or two days then will adjust to healthy eating ..
