It is perfectly natural and healthy for parents to show affection for their baby by holding but not kissing on your baby's lips. My baby is 1 year old till now I never kissed my baby on lips. Because it is very necessary to know of the dangers, kissing baby on lips can cause infection for baby. If we have cold or infection it can affect on baby. Baby can have breathing problems, even virus or gems in our mouth can enter to our infant mouth.Baby immunity is not so strong as elders, So it better not to give kiss to your baby lips. Take care of your children.. stay home and Be safe ..☺👍

mothers always think about baby's health so my point of view kissing on lips of babies is not a good one because they have very delicate skin...it may affect so we can expose our affection in various ways kissing on lips to show our affection is not good at all.we can kiss him/her forehead I think this Is best place.

I don't know why but kiss on lips get more feeling tha. other. oh forehead comes next. when you and your kid both are excited kiss on lips naturally happens. and its really a joy. let me tell you one more thing it also.needs bonding. if you observed you'll fond your kids don't kiss anyone on lips other than you. that's a trust and love from the heart which unbearable to share in words

though it can be infectious

why is kissing our own baby on the lip is so controversial ?
As a parent one does everything for the baby cuddling to cleaning them without any questions but when it comes to showing affection why do we need to rethink about doing something. kissing a baby on the lip or a cheeck is equally cute way of showing affection.
My little one loves the attention and he loves being kissed and cuddle .. i would rather fully shower my love on him before he turns older than sitting and thinking if what i do is or not the right thing do be done.
As far as a parent and baby is comfortable there is absolutely nothing wrong in it .
