Chubby cheeks, dimple chin, rosy lips, Teeth within, curly hair, VERY FAIR, eyes are blue! This used to be the Fantasy of Families if they had a thought of daughters to be born! Hey Parents! Do you feel over the years this thought has changed? Mother-in-Law\'s now don\'t suggest to drink KESAR Ka DOODH for Fair Girl or Aunty\'s don\'t advice to avoid eating black things during Pregnancy! Or else you feel things will never change in our society? How was your experience?
Is Fair Only Lovely?
I don\'t think only fair is lovely as every child is lovely as they are children and their parents star kids.
fair is not lovely all the time. it\'s is the society who makes u feel things about complexion of baby. as a mother no one would differentiate her love in terms of complexion.my daughter s fair when she was born she had a little darker complexion but I never thought of complexion . the love doesn change and neither I care about what people say.

A big No. This new generation should not have to grow up in the age old body complextion inferiorities. Every color is beautiful and as parents we have to make them better than us. Color difference is man made and it should end here.

I think so..... color doesn’t matter for their parents but ....for Aunty’s and relatives it matters a lot still in this century also they r giving so many advices to drink this or that.......Anyhow every child is a god gifted for their parents coz nowadays many couples are facing so many problems during pregnancy.so whether the baby s with fair skin r dark skin a good parents love them with their heart not from mind r not for their color

yes obviously fair colour add an excitement in the happiness when you see yr child..but ultimately it\'s yr child\'s innocent activities which attracts more.if yr child is joyful no matters which skin colour she or he have...but yes mother or mother in law still emphasize on dos n don\'ts during pregnancy which makes yr foetus fairer...this never gonna change..

Being a dark skin women, I surely had to face lot of troubles. Comments from my relatives who are women n are dark. Weird.
But my dad use to joke about it saying...whatsoever you do you will always be like either of your parents. They always wanted me and my siblings to be healthy and I think that\'s more important than anything else.
However TV commercials are also changing...no longer Fair Skin stuff...now it\'s all about flawless skin...brighter n clearer..I wish n think this will continue and when our kids grow up..all they have to be worried is about typical skin issues everyone have. They will not end up like us checking shade card on fairness cream tubes to see if it changed...
