These are undergoing change and slowly colour is loosing the gender specific attachments.

None such here. We use blues, purples greens and everything under the sun for both girls. We have pink shirt for Baba.
Moreover, the movie 'frozen' moved to us loving blue all the more.
No restrictions on emotional display, 'express what you feel' is encouraged.
At the end, its personal preference. Untiil thats developed, we wont be encouraging stereotyping.

it's so ingrained in the society that my 3 year old says it's girly when I dress my newborn boy in pink. we have never said that to her and have been very conscious not to. the kid should be free to choose any colour they like. I still liek my husband in a pink or peach shirt . it's suits him and thats enough
