yes, gender stereotyping is common not only in family setting but also in schools.. children many times learn the biases of their peer group also

This is a very crucial part of parenting in these times. We have a huge responsibility on our shoulders to shun this conventional way of raising the children where we unknowingly put them under extreme pressure of not showing their emotions from a very tender age. This is will in turn make grow with low self esteem. But, it’s gets sometimes difficult for parents like me who are in a joint family and there too many people trying to teach our children.
