according to me if both husband and wife are working then it will be better
1. If husband tries to move to other job where he will be getting more salary than bfre also if wife plans quite for a while to take care of the baby this solution helps.
2. start saving the money for your baby while you were pregnant in a kitty box daily even one rupee is fine. keep saving the money till your baby gets older and understands what money saving is like (4 to 5 yrs) teach them how to save ask them to continue saving in the same kitty box. this way babies learn about saving money and its importance.
3. start making small savings from your salaries avoid unnecessary expenses
