A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

gender never matters for parents but when children grow up they need a bro or Sis to share their joys and sorrows..,to celebrate bhai dooj and rakhi and when daughter gets married.. a son should be there to look after parents... both are equally important

In order to eliminate gender difference from our society, it needs to start from our home from basic things. Pink is not a color for girls and blue not for boys. They are kids and they are free to choose their colors. Gender shouldn\'t define the type of toys they should play with. In today\'s changing world i see girls going to karate classes and boys to music. It\'s fine.
Even on shopping sites if you choose boys section the fort color that pop up is blue.
A color won\'t define or type of toy won\'t define my kids gender. Fact of the matter is we are trying our best to raise good human beings and not a girl or a boy. Let\'s focus on raising good human beings.
