A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?
when i was pregnant, rather than asking about baby\'s good future plan and current health by doctors, it was matter of asking for a baby boy, one of my relatives even insist me of having baby boy because they love and wants a boy only nothing else can do, and that what lies within our Indian Culture and sick mentality. And sorry to say, NO it not only happens in small towns in India but each and everytime where, no matter rich or poor or small or metropolitan cities, its all same. It sadden the most when a woman asks for a boy more than a girl.
What can be done to change the society??? Girls are getting good educations, Most of the departments have ladies now, no matter what field they are, they are making world proud enough but still this freaking henious society. Parents force them for marriage, then for Kids, then so on and on.
what else can be done to change the crab mentality of the society if women themselves will not change the there will be differences of a baby girl and baby boy for ever and ever and ever because its a woman only from the member of the family who wants a baby boy, be it mother-in -law, my mother-by-blood, aunts, grandmother...

gender never matter but the small thinks of people always disturb mind about girl n boys I feel it when I blessed with a baby girl they say it is good but if you have boy not worry about next
