A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?
Boy V/S Girl
I was already having daughter second time every 1 want boy then we took each and eveey effort we paid for the test doctor said its boy but I always say to my husband agar ladki hogi toh please accept karna he is broad minded but my inlaws are in village they are not like that but we accepted our daughter with open arms and I feel blessed to be a mother of daughter as I am also second daughter of my mom and sometime I feel I love second daughter more than first but I love both of them

I am a daughter! My parents never differentiated between a boy and a girl.
From pregnancy and childbirth, from first cuddles to first steps, it\'s all so wonderful! I feel blessed to be in a society where gender of the baby doesn\'t really matter.
In fact, nowadays, we see most people are very casual about the gender preference and there\'s no much differenciation made like the olden days.
However yes, the fact remains unchanged that there are still people who consider not having a son as a tragedy, because they expect to depend on them in their old age.

I feel what should matter when a baby born is the relationship that you have with him.
For me my doll gave me a chance to be mother when she born if it\'s the boy also it would be same.
we should cherish the bond that we have with our baby because our baby even love us without gender basis, just think over it.
my mother in law have this mentality where boy is more superior, but the way I take care of my baby with her need , behaviour, style , learning while I am working.believe me ,she don\'t even try to show or speak to any of us in family that offense any of us.
it in our hand, how we want other to treat us and baby\'s love is very pure.

Hello! I am a lucky mother of 3 months old daughter and I would give my opinion about the most debated topic of the era i.e. girls v/s boys..
But first of all I would want you to know that daughters are the gift of god received by those who are capable of caring that gift!
Actually the main reason for parents wanting a boy child is that he will carry forward their dynasty! Parents think that girls are their burden.. One day she will leave them and go (after marriage) so why should they spend on her if they will not get anything in return! Whereas boys will be the one taking care of them in their old age and when needed!
But I am against this thinking! Daughters are the precious gems they need to be nourished with love and care ❤️

Our indian culture, beliefs n all these factors contribute to this trend, our indian society unfortunately is a male dominated society where they think that baby boy when grown up will be the bread earner of the family and wont leave after marriage n will stay wid thm n support thm.in their old age.they see son as asset n girl child a liabilty.
but m really glad m blessed wid a beautiful angel she is so so so precious to us, she takes all the love. we all love her so so much.. n in todays tym girls will n even are overpowering boys.

only teachings your child way to behave towards opposite gender matters.
teaching respect of both gender equally important.
