A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

Indian family system believes boy leads family and take all the responsibilities like financial and all other things after his father, So that's why they want boy baby must.

In our Indian society having a boy is a matter of pride but it hardly matters
I always prayed for a baby girl and today I feel blessed to own one instead of whatever my in-laws think we both are happy we have a baby girl

girl has to leave parents. at the home of in laws most of the girl, are not get treatment like their hubby. but education and self dependence will do a lot.

I have two daughter 3years old and 9months old.parents wants son becoz he thinks that son would take care him at old age .But today girl is as equal to boy she is also able to take care of his parents so society have to change his mind.boys nd girls have equal importance

No , it doesn't matter. but if girls are born they are backbone to family, Angel's in the family. who always cares for their surroundings...👩👩‍🎓👩‍🔧👩‍🏭👩‍💻👩‍🎤👩‍🎨👩‍✈️👸👰🤱🧚‍♀️💁‍♀️🙋‍♀️.
And I have a angel GLORY 2+ years .

I always wanted a girl child ,I feel daughter's are more connected to their parents in every sense rather than sons. This orthodox kind of ppl can only be changed by educating them.
