A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

I have also two girls.. but I m very happy... she is very cute and active.. all that say our society mentality is depend on..

In our custom the youngest daughter inherits parent's house and should look after their parents and Sons also have the power over family issues, in some family matters like engagements, weddings etc of the children of their siblings Uncles play an important role. So both son and daughter are preferred.

actually everyone like to have girl children if violence towards them are reduced.girl child are brutally raped in this society and it becomes very common everywhere so all are preferring boy.. if parents who have boy child educate their children to respect every women this occurrences may be reduced.
