For me no both are equal , but in my culture girls are important more than boys for the next generation.

No it really doesn't matter to me... our society thinks who will support them when they get old? who will take care of them?
Divya Pradeep Mom of 2 children 5 years ago
Definitely it doesnt matter. Should be blesses to have Daughter in Life👸. Society would give more prefrence to boys its just bcoz boys they believe they will be taken care by them during their old days but now it has just be imagination and saying that's it.

In reply to Preeti Vivek
I personally believe both boys and girls are equal. As a parent it's our responsibility and duty to raise our kids to become a responsible citizen tomorrow and to be independent. Be it a girl or a boy, both must be raised with love, discipline and values. I am a mother of two boys who always wanted a girl. But that doesn't make any difference except the fact that if it were a girl, I could groom her and dress her up, which I won't be able to do for a boy. (And maybe that is the only reason I wanted a girl)
same thing with me.and it's true
