A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a \'Son\' rather than a \'Daughter\' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?
Boy V/S Girl
I love to be a mother of both, it doesn\'t matter whether it\'s a boy or girl.
For a mother both are equal coz she goes through the same things in both cases. But society thinks vice versa. They need daughter-in-law but not daughter. Daughters are treated differently coz of conservative thought...I have 2 daughters n for me n my husband they are our treasure. I have seen this partiality in my family. For then son is necessary for continuity of VANSH😏. Girl ke birthday celebration mai bhi insult hoti h according to them.. n list is never ending... 😞.. but who cares

it can be applicable for those , who are having a child. but who are not having a child for them it doesn\'t matter whether its boy or girl child.well coming to the mother point of view , her love and affection towards child is great and soo vast.so no one can judge to desire for having a boy child rather than a girl child.

when it comes to mother\'s love, gender has no place. A mother loves their children, if they are girls/boys. a desire of having son is still there in many parts of India, I agree. But generation is changing, slowly people\'s thoughts are also changing.

It is the generations of misogynistic thought that have been hammered since centuries. It is time people talk their minds. The truth that every child of any gender has same cerebral opportunity. It\'s perfectly alright to have one son or one daughter or n number of daughters. It is the parents or parent\'s ability to bring them up as a good human being with all necessities, that is important. And not the gender of the child.

a boy or girl is equal to me and most parents treat equally either a boy or girl but in society boy is given most prefernce than a girl because a girl will be with be parents only a part of their life and just only up to certain age till she gets settled in their life and gets married but where as boy child will be with their parents look after them
