A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

Mother loves her children for lifetime. Doesn't matter whether it's boy or girl.

It doesn’t matter for us coz in this era, girls will be rising fast and can take care of their parents more than the boys do since ages. Girls are so intelligent, smart working and stand up on their feet and show the power of girls to this world..

I personally want a daughter. I feel I will connect more with my daughter.. Boys anyways dont connect or talk to their parents as much as girls do.

No matter whether it is girl or it is boy matter is this both are healthy and brilliant today’s life both of children earning girls are quite brilliant than boys and more earning rather than boys so both are same

It's all in people's head. Nowadays a son n daughter both are making proud their parents. So it really does not matter, if you treat both as same. If u spend money on a daughter's study rather than saving for her marriage, she will definitely give you the result same as a son. And the matter of family surname, bloodline and lineage carring then just change the process of society. Let the girl carry the lineage, what's the problem in that. If after so many solutions out there, you still felt like it's an issue, then contact psychiatric. Bcoz only professional medical help can help you.

it really doesn't matter .but in real life when we live in old thinking and half educated family it matters. I remember in my in laws family it really big issue to give birth a girl baby. grandparents and relative said that no matter gave birth a girl or boy baby. but in reality it matters my husband ' mother always said that you born a girl baby. next time you 'll check whether a girl or boy baby and abort a baby girl .My husband also not behave good with me and even not care us . I remember my sasu maa did not give a cloth to my daughter .now me and my daughter live separately and happily. I love my daughter too much and really my daughter cares me alot .

To me it really does not matters at all. And also tye thinking of our society is changing drastically,they have started treating both equally but yes there is no doubt that still there are some backward places where this differentiation still exist .They just want a boy in order to continue their family and surname .Dur to this typical n backeard thinking they differentiates b/w the 2 which is extremely inacceptable.

Past son were going fr school jobs so taught was ter boy will save parents at their old age but now Girls are rocking in all field. For generation most of the grand parents prefer boy. some cases First girl baby mean they feel auspicious.
