A Boy Child or a Girl Child have been treated differently since ages. A desire of having a 'Son' rather than a 'Daughter' is still there in most parts of the country.Does it really matter for you? Why do you think our society has this preference for having Son rather than Daughter?

we live in damn ridiculous society where everyone wants to have baby boy first....same happened with me...as I gave birth to baby girl....and I m very happy....but when people don't congratulate me ....it hurts me alot....and I started hating those who all are not happy...but me and my hubby are happy....

ya that's the truth but people just don't understand that everyone want boy in greediness for getting baby boy they ignore their baby girl

its really sad but the reason could be that people are not empowering girls as a result not many are successful as boys and so everyone wants a boy so that he can take care of their family.

our society considers that daughters go away from their parents after marriage instead a son lives with his parents all the life and also society thinks that son takes the family forward.... that is why everyone blesses new weds to have a son.... I have gone through all these things but I'm happy with my family and my cute little Angel...so stop torturing to have a boy child instead we should accept the blessing given by the god.....

I’m mother of two,a boy n a girl babies are a real real Gift from God no matter what gender they are our job is to raise them to be a responsible citizen and a good human being. And should teach both gender to respect each other. I think this where we as parents should concentrate regardless of what gender they are...
