to break this stereotypes I will first of all raise my kid differently so that in future they would not follow such typical Indian rules ... I will fight for the right thing and never suppress my feelings at the same time take care of others feelings too but will not satisfy their unusual wishes.

I think we should respect our in laws but at the same time we should not lose our identity
what if in laws don't respect us. then can giving respect to them possible?

A women being ambitious and also has to be a sanskari bahu mmmm not impossible until family is understanding especially the spouse.

I also like many other "good Boumas(daughter in law)" have tried everything but more you bend yourself more there will be load of expectations ...Nothing is enough to make people impressed who doesnt want to get impressed.
