I started light exercises after 6 months of delivery but with no diet control as I was feeding my baby. Once my daughter was 18 months old, I started jogging followed by yoga and with some diet restrictions like no sugar, avoided oily/ fried foods, increased water intake rest I ate everything. Initial 1 month was hard and barely with any visible results but gradually I started feeling lighter and started losing weight. Remember consistency is very important so Stay Motivated 👍

Hi...like every new mom I too gained around 12 kg and weighed at 80 kg post delivery. I was a size M and moved to size XL. I lost my confidence and didn\'t feel good about my body and the worst part was that my TSH levels rose with blood sugar as well. This served as a wake up call for me. I just re-oriented my entire schedule and made it a habit to exercise daily for about 30-45 minutes. I even cut down processed sugar from my diet and ate mostly home-cooked food. It followed a strict schedule for 2 months and I managed to lose 10 kg. I am back to my original shape and can fit in dresses I bought during my wedding. Nothing beats this happiness of fitting into lovely dresses you bought way back and get compliments for that too. I have relaxed my regimen a bit now, I go out with my friends and family and eat outside food too, however, I exercise daily even if it is just walking for 30 minutes
All this took a lot of labour and being strict with yourself but believe me ladies I did it without joining any gym and along with my full time job. Now my sugar level is within control and my TSH levels are half of what they were 3 months back.
