Yes awareness is very important,
Thanks to all the blessings that comes along a baby. I’m a mother of 5 month old baby boy.
I got aware about this in some of pre delivery classes that I took in my hospital.
I was well prepared and took care of this with simple exercise.I take a pause whenever I get a negative thoughts in my mind.
I remind myself that how powerful I’m as an individual,I’m blessed to be a mother . I have got the biggest blessing to be mother because I’m capable of taking care of a little life.
Looking at my baby’s smile always helped me to take care of myself as much a I have to take care of him.
Guys don’t play a victim card on your self as you are the one who have to take care of how you feel.
No one is going to take care of your mental and emotional health.
No other person can rectify your emotions.Kindly make sure you do check it, at least two times a day.
Your physical and mental health are going to affect your baby’s physical and mental health directly.
Happier you are , so will be your baby.
You always have a choice, to be miserable or to be happy.Don’t let any other emotion overpower the happiness of motherhood
Be happy and be blessed.

I had Postpartum depression and realised only after 2 years when situation become worst. I consulted a professional and realized that people are not much aware of this situation. I was thinking I was too stressed, on a verge of divorce, couldn't perform well professionally... I am so happy i took professional help and could manage the things much better. Awareness is one thing we should promote. If we delay things it turns out worse.
Stay happy stay healthy...
and what you said to psychologist- i dont feel good about anything?
I delivered twins babies and it is & was difficult immediately after Caesarean to immediately look after them with not much help from staff nurse or family members as they were not allowed especially after visiting hours. I would dread as night approached as after whole day struggling, you are not going to be allowed to sleep as you need to breastfeed at interval of 2 hours& in twins it\'s likely hourly, plus you feel low as it is your responsibility & no one else, but I didn\'t realize how I coped up,till I started talking it out to my friends and family members who started understanding & counseling me,so my suggestion is better to ventilate your feelings rather than suffer alone. thanks

Dear Mommies,
I request all of you to learn at least Meditation and some breathing exercises n listen to yr favorite music 🎶.
I had spinal headache also post C sec, n even pain killers were not helpful. Also, many challenges like lack of sleep n stress. I started doing Anulom Vilom pranayam which is very basic breathing excercise along with Art of living Sahaj Samadhi Meditation, which i had already learned.
In 1/2 days my headache was gone. Still was having sleepless days n nights, but just 20 mins of Meditation helped me to cope up with the insomnia n stress, n was getting anxious n emotional n feeling low n weak. But wirhin few days, i recovered mentally, got the strength.
MEDITATION PPRANAYAM GOOD COMPANY is the key for me.
Good luck.

postpartum depression is natural and it is not something to feel guilty about. the body and lifestyle goes through a lot of change and mentally it is exhausting. I was depressed after my baby was born but I accepted that and had my husband by my side to support me through my depression. if a person is depressed, it\'s best to seek out support from loved ones and if the depression continues even after 6 months, go to professional for help. its perfectly normal and no one should be judged for reaching out.
