Breastfeeding is a complete journey in itself. In India, women are told about do this, do that during pregnancy and even after delivery for good growth of baby but no one care to teach or guide a new mom about breastfeeding.Due to C-section my baby was feeded with formula milk through bottles for 3 days due to which he didnot tried to feed my milk. The milk got collected in my breasts(it was so painful) and due to being surrounded by conservative people i was not able to discuss my problem with anyone,i got fever due to all this and my little Aaru was not even trying to feed my milk,I gave up tht time and completely considered that i failed as a mother but my mom motivated me to not give up and use hot water bag for dealing with engorged breasts, after 5 days of continuous efforts i got some milk coming out of my breasts,i cannot explain what i felt at that time i cried with happiness and then i decided that i will make aaru feed my milk, slowly and steadily we both learned a lot in this journey and supported each other and we crossed all hurdles together.I can not thank enough my mother for being on my side when i was completely broke from inside, she stood by me and guided me.Mothers are simply best people in the world.

initially 3 days was just trying to teach my baby to latch as milk supply was almost zero..after that my baby never latched directly,so I had to use nipple shield to feed him.plus initially to increase milk supply I used to express n feed my baby after every 2 hours even if he was sleeping..Today he is 4 months old,he latches directly now n I don\'t hav to express milk to increase the supply🙂

i have twins..so the biggest problem was to feed them together...as feeding one at a time can only left me exhausted.well my lactation doctor visited me in hospital room and showed me the way how i can feed both babies together...its little awkward to hear..bt it only makes sense that time.as it saves a lot of time and energy... i used feeding pillow which also helped me a lot in lactating in right posture without hurting my back...

I gave birth to twins at my first delivery, things were very adventurous for me but I was very messed while feeding my babies. The only thing helped me was just listen to your instinct and work as per your situation. Please don’t give ears to others word. Many people are there just to make you feel very uncomfortable about your feeding and also burdening their expectations on you. Just enjoy your motherhood journey with your little ones. Happy motherhood and big cheers to all ladies who are expecting or delivered newborn.
