Both my kids are pre mature c section... but challanges were different for each of them...
my son born in 7.5 months could not suck milk due hence i fed him with baby spoon and then pumped it out in bottle. i had to wait 4 months to experience the touch for the 1st time...

My daughter born in 8.5 months, from day 1 she was obsessed about feeding only directly... never used a bottle in 1st y months or top milk... as she was stubborn and would cry untill i feed her directly... travelling was a nightmare as she would not even intake pumped milk in bottle...

phew! learnt everyday..

i had c section delivery.. i had no idea about latching. nursing the baby every 2 hours.. i had loads of trouble regarding recovery from c sec... but then too since it was early stages my baby couldnt latch or maybe i was not knowing how to do... so initially i pumped the milk and gave her in bottle.. later on everyday i tried latching... and within 7-8 days she became a pro... bit i neva stopped pumping... i always breastfed plus gave pumped milk... and yet m doing that... let's c... how it ends... all days are not the same.. some good some bad...cluster feeds... pain feed... dream feed... sleep feed... all are the part of breastfeeding... hope so... all goes well...

my baby was premature and so feeding time was very close there wasn't enough time for me to sleep ...so feeding her every hour was the main challenge......avent automatic breast pump was my only solution for it ...so that I can pump the milk and give to my mother to feed her while I get some sleep...
my baby feeding 2 hours... nigh feeding 3 hours.. baby was a feet... and sleeping
