I had a C-sec delivery. So first two days everything was normal. Milk was coming and I didn’t face any issue. But the day I went back home and baby’s diet increases I don’t know what happened .. his stomach was not getting full .. he was crying so badly and wasn’t able to latch on my nipple. Starting 1 week was so dreadful for me. My baby was crying nonstop and with him I was crying badly. Everyone around me were trying to comfort us but nothing was getting better. Then later on I got to know that kn C-sec, it takes time to get milk formed. I mean in that 1 week or 10 days I did everything from breast pumping ( manually and electronic both ) to nipple shield to having all that jeera , milk … everything! Obviously with my lack of milk I started formula milk for him but I remember I wasn’t in a good state of mind and in a lot of guilt but when I got to know the supply takes time and we just need to hve a little patience then everything started getting back to normal. After 10-12 days he was getting breastfed and his stomach was filling and everything goes back to normal. So being a first mom I know sometimes everything seems so dreadful but trust me with time everything becomes normal.. and yes even if you can’t breastfeed your baby .. never ever feel guilty about it. Because our main priority is baby’s full stomach.

my breastfeeding journey has been amazing since day 1 where he knew the perfect way to latch and suck milk.. he needed no tutorials on that . he's 1 year old now and I can say that my milk is his favourite delicacy out of everything he's had.

Yeah breastfeeding is really a journey, specially when you are mother of preterm. my Little preterm girl was not taking breast feed. As per some guidance i understood she did not developed sucking ability yet. so my husband and i have started teaching her breastfeed by one person holding baby instead of laying down and put breast nipple in her mouth with two fingers holding nipple in her mouth. and with in 2 days she learnt breastfeed

Motherhood a wonderful journey started with breast feeding my little one. From the day one till the age of 6 months the way she grew is only with breast feeds. I felt very proud how the tender little one became a crawling baby with only breast feeds. During this stage my diet really helped my baby to avoid medicines for little illness.
