I know this isn't a comment that a lot of you will be expecting but i want to share this as there are many women who CANNOT produce enough breast milk to feed the baby,so they switch to formula milk and for that they are looked down upon by the family members, society etc. Insufficient milk supply should not be considered as a DISABILITY. Any woman who is not exclusively breast feeding her baby is not less of a mother from the one who does. Feeding your child well is important. Don't let anybody to shame you for giving your child FM. Also,i think it's really necessary for a new mother to have a lactation consultant postpartum as they can help you & the newborn with breastfeeding(for those who can produce ample amount of breastmilk) better than anyone else. Lastly we all need to understand that be it BM or FM,motherhood is all about taking good care of your baby :)

In that case, i was rather an unfortunate mother. I had twin babies who were pre term as well.. They were below 2kg so doctors insisted me not to direct breastfeed them until they gain 2 kilos.. So i used breast pump to get milk.. Which was very uncomfortable for me in the initial days.. But i had no other option.. It took my babies a month and half to gain 2kg.. After attaining the so mentioned"2kg" they were on direct breastfeed... But to mine and their misfortune the milk flow had decreased and couldnt feed them for even a month.. So i literally had to feed them formula milk which they continued till 2yrs of age along with other solid foods.. Now they are 3 yrs old and by God's grace healthy and adorable kids..
