breastfeeding journey is very good journey, it's painful sometime, but it's very important for baby ,and baby health is more important

The most challenging thing about breastfeeding was to learn to breastfeed properly. During the initial period it was extremely hard as I had no idea how to help my baby latch properly. The presence of my own mother and mother -in-law made it even more difficult for me to find the strength and confidence to breastfeed successfully while I was in the hospital and still recovering from a C-section. I felt a lot of pressure to immediately learn and be the perfect mom. Breastfeeding is a bond that you create with your baby on your own space, comfort and privacy. Unfortunately I didn't have that and that was the biggest challenge for me.

I think for mothers in cities the challenge is to get the flow and start breastfeed, which is not going to happen the next moment of delivery, especially in cesarean delivery. Because by personal experience I say this that doctors don’t wait for the mother to start the milk flow they just start giving the baby nan-pro or other substitutes. I consulted a breast feeding consultant and started the journey with plastic nipples and eventually I was successful. It is a process which needs patience. Breastfeeding, especially at the early days after birth is too difficult. There are so many problems like staying awake at nights and breastfeeding the baby, making baby calm during nights, and also the pain of delivery. I also have a severe backpain while breastfeeding. I felt so exhausted.
