Congratulations to all those parents. The first few weeks will be difficult but it\'s the most satisfying days of your life. Before you feed clean the feeding area properly and the way you hold your baby is the second step which you must be careful and the baby will find it comfortable to latch for feeding by self. Don\'t worry about how much they consume since babies feed until they\'re full so just relax.

Hi everyone,
I had c section delivery and my baby was healthy too. I had to breast feed her for every two hours but my milk wasn\'t coming that good. I had to brest pump and give my child. I had cuts which was very painful but I had come through. later I used some supplements with milk for me so I can give my baby milk properly. later I did not have any issues for feeding until it\'s 5 months. my baby stopped drinking milk from as she is not getting enough. so I started dexolac recommended by pediatric, now my baby is also healthy with the dexolac milk. she gets all the nutrients, minerals from dexolac which was Instucted by my pediatrician. now I am happy with my child\'s growth. hope everyone is healthy too.

After having an unexpected c- section, I thought that nothing could be more painful until I had to breastfeed my baby every two hours. From cuts to bleeding, it was a really really painful experience. I wish that someone had prepared me for this challenge! After researching online and getting advice from other young moms, I started using the lanolin cream for the first few months of my breast feeding journey and it eased my discomfort to another level! I also started pumping my breast milk to give my nipples a break from the tentative feeds. This whole experience changed me as a person- it makes you stronger physically and mentally and pushing your patience levels higher that you had ever imagined. For all new moms out there, it’s the best thing you can do for your baby so if it gets hard, just try and push a little further each day, it is very rewarding!

Hi everyone
I am a mom of 2 kids. My elder is 6 years old and my younger one is 6 months old. I had the breastfeeding problem with my elder one. He was not able to latch it properly. I was very worried in the hospital about that. When I came home I decided to latch him myself using my tactics by slowly and making him comfortable.

What were the challenges in your breastfeeding journey and how did you overcome it?
I had c section delivery and new mom.
latching was a problem.my baby found it difficult to latch.
my breast got engorged.
i got fever every night for 1 week.
my gyno taught me how hold the breast inbetween your index finger and middle finger (scissors like holding)
it controlled the flow as well as can focus on latching without the breast getting slipped off.
I saw so many videos to learn on latching techniques/breastfeeding position.
each time i failed, but never gave up.
finally figured out convenient position for my baby.
I used feeding pillows for first 2 months.
later my grandmother thought me how to nurse with any pillow, holding baby in slightly angled with neck placed in angle of your elbow.
TIPS
apply coconut oil to nipples to soften it.
keep pulling nipples in initial days like exercise for 10 times and leave it.
massage your breast for increased supply.
EVERY CHALLENGE HAS A SOLUTION UNLESS YOU\'RE PATIENCE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT IS BEST.
enjoy breastfeeding, never quit it at any cost.
by any chance you have a second thought of other options just look at our little one face.
