As they say the baby never comes with a manual… the very first few weeks after delivery are the hardest… my breastfeeding journey was challenging as the baby just wouldn’t latch.. at that time when hormones play havoc and nothing seems right my husband came to rescue..be his comforting words, helping me in my breastfeeding journey or supporting me in keeping at bay all unnecessary advice that came our way … true men don’t wear ego .. they shoulder responsibility..

As a new mother I didn't know how to breastfeed the baby and also the baby didn't know how to latch, so at that time my husband bought the pump and helped me in pumping out the sufficient amount of the milk repeatedly in every few hours. He was on parental leave soo that he can enjoy that time which he heard "ki baccha paida hone do tb pta chlega" to know that aisa kya change aata hai life me he was on leave for few days. Throughout my pregnancy he was my support system. I got covid positive when I was 8 months pregnant and about to start my 9 month and my in-laws were also covid positive at that time, but my husband somehow managed everything his health as well as my health and also others in the family. Blessed with the best husband. 💕

Breastfeeding is a family affair, and partner is an important part of the journey. It took time, practice, patience, and encouragement from both our sides to make breastfeeding an enriching experience . When i first started breastfeeding he felt left out but i told him he is an important part of the journey.During feeding he would give me company and make sure i had plenty to eat and drink, After feeding he would cuddle and burp the baby.In free time hubby would also help with the chores. He also defended my decision of continuing to breastfeed after 6 months, i am glad he understood my choice. Best thing is he always keeps me in a vibrant mood by cheering me up and i felt special when he bought a philips automatic breast pump from firstcry.Breastfeeding helps to create intimacy and bonding between mom and baby but in our case it was a three way connection. I am so proud of my husband and head over heels in love with him❤️😍🥰😘

I have twins, thus feeding was very difficult for me, as both kids get hungry at the same time. I use to feed both of them together at the same time which was impossible without my husband. He made all arrangements of feeding pillow and adjust kids so that both of them latch properly n feed well. Apart from this he help me with back support pillow and corrects my posture so that I don't suffer back pain. So its like we both were feeding kids.. I was feeding physically and my partner was supporting me I all possible ways. 💖💖

My partner helps me to soothe, bathe, change, dress, cuddle, and burp our baby. He also gives me company during feedings and make sure that i have plenty to eat and drink. He also watches for hunger signs of our baby and brings the baby to me for nursing sessions. He has been very supportive as my breast feeding journey was very difficult.
