A father can help in building the confidence of his partner by praising her efforts. Help her get in a comfortable position. At a time of breastfeeding A partner can maintain boundaries when others may demand the time or attention of the breastfeeding parent. The partner can answer the door or the phone, and can let others know that the new mother needs time alone or some rest. It is not just about breastfeeding but also taking care of the baby. You could change the diapers of the baby, carry him/her for a while so that the mother can have sufficient rest. In addition, you can help your partner with household chores including cooking.

Help with chores. Run errands, cook, clean, and do laundry. If I need something while I'm breastfeeding, offer to get it for me. Help my partner feel good about myself. He feel proud about me that I'm doinggood job. Try to do something special for me.

being parent is such a beautiful blessing aftr tough journey of pregnancy ...bt aftr giving birth is toughest challenge for husband n wife...this time goes smoothly n happily if husband is caring, supportive ...only this time wife needs support from husband n family members..In my case i gave birth through c-section ...at that time it ws very difficult for me to handle new born baby alone because of my stitches and back pain...at tht time my husband helped a lot...he played great role in my breastfeeding journey....because some time my baby used to cry whole night...at that time I was unable to getup..my husband became mom for my baby.and he used to take care of my baby...am time he sang lullaby to make him sleep..sometime he changed his diaper...and wenever my baby cried for milk..he used to gv my feed through bottle...I always used to store my breastfeed ...so my husband became my right hand in this situation ....to take care of me and my baby...this time is filled wid emotions...so this time can pass easily if husband is supportive n caring...thus my this journey became joyful n memorable wid help of my husband..
