I had a challenging pregnancy journey and i got this beautiful baby girl in my fifth pregnancy who was delivered at 34 weeks and she was in NICU for 19 days as it was pre-matured delivery. It was a struggle to produce enough milk but i didn't want to miss this wonderful journey of breastfeeding my baby. initially I have been asked for milk for 3 days and then when I was asked to come, my hubby accompanied me everyday to NICU and he used to sit outside alone even though if every breastfeeding session stretched upto one and half hours, we used to be in hospital from early morning till late evening and then he used to take care of me and make sure that i get good food and ample rest. when I started this breastfeeding journey the amount of milk was very less and i used to get sad and disappointed at times but my husband always used to encourage me and tried everything possible including lactation tea and all home remedies so that my milk supply can increase and that eventually happened. While I breast feed he doesn't step into room because babies tend to get distracted. He is an amazing Dad. I am so blessed to have him💝

My husband has been my pillar of support. We used the Philips Avent breast pump and feeding bottle to give our baby top feeds to increase weight faster. My husband always sterilised the pump and bottle several times a day and fed our baby expressed milk when I was exhausted. This enabled me to recover faster, helped our baby put on the required weight and strengthened my husband’s bond with the baby. My man is our baby’s “father-mom”!
