my partner played huge role in keeping me motivated in breastfeeding journey by sharing articles and knowledge which helped me normalise this and shed my apprehensions. being first time mother such knowledge was super helpful to smoothen the entire period to give my baby the ultimate nourishment which no other food can give. Thanks to firstcry for timely knowledgeable articles which made even my partner part of this journey which usually is covered by mother alone

Encourage your partner to drink plenty of water, and make sure these's plenty of healthy food at home for her to eat.
Breastfeeding will make her hungry and thirsty. Take on extra housework, and tring to make sure you're home as much as possible to do things like cooking and washing.

Breastfeeding is a family affair, and dad is an important part of the team.It takes time, practice, patience, and teamwork. As a dad, you may feel left out if your partner breastfeeds your new baby. But you play an important role. Here are ways you can offer me support and encouragement, and be involved every step of the breastfeeding journey.
Helping in take care of our baby.He Limit visitors. New moms need plenty of rest! Helping me to limit the number of visitors that came to our home.Help with chores. Run errands, cook, clean, and do laundry. If mom needs something while she's breastfeeding, offer to get it for her. If you have other children, take care of them so your partner can focus on breastfeeding.Helped my partner feel good about herself.I Told her you're proud of her and that she's doing a great job. Try to do something special for her.Not everyone will understand your and your partner's decision to breastfeed. I am the first line of defense against negative comments and anyone who tries to discourage your partner from breastfeeding.
