Fasten your seat belt! Your kid’s probably on an emotional roller coaster right now: One minute he’s as happy as ever, and the next he’s a mess. There may be one or two more years before he grows out of temper tantrums. Until then, expect to be dealing with the regular outbursts of anger and frustration. Although it is difficult to predict what is going to trigger an outbreaks, you can cut down on their frequency by making sure your child gets enough sleep and eats well during the day. Remember, a hungry, sleep-deprived child is a meltdown waiting to happen. Speaking of food, did you know that certain foods can also help to calm your child’s tantrums?
