Your Baby this Week
When your child is throwing a full-blown screaming fit in the middle of the store, you may want to hide behind the toilet paper display, but rest assured that other parents feel your pain. The most useful response is to take your child out of the store (even if it means leaving a cart full of food behind) and sit with him until he stops crying. Staying calm and offering lots of hugs and kisses can help. Keep in mind that your child is still learning how to communicate, and will eventually grow out of this behavior.
