A. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons. Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there. After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age sheddingx of hairs is there . Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a proper quality hair wifll be there by around 2 years of age. Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position

A. hi hair growth mostly depends genetics. but for better hair growth ,you can apply coconut oil daily on your child hair. wash your child's hair with mild shampoo . because some hard shampoos can affect your child's hair growth. so be careful while choosing shampoo for your child. As Babyhug brand shampoo is clinically approved ,I would suggest you to use that for better hair.
