Q.

y baby diagnosed with biliary atresia at the age of three months had kasai surgery but their is not such changes in her poop color. she is going to be 8 months old but her weight is just 6.3 kg. she's formula feed baby her dietitian suggests simyl formula but I don't think so she's gaining weight that much. cause of lack observation of fat should I give her extra fat like (Ghee,oil) I also used to give her MCT oil. please suggest me what should I give her for weight gaining and which formula is best for her.

A. the surgery will be done to relieve biliary atresia baby having jaundice newborn period at present for date you have to consult your local pediatrician since we have to go through many investigations in the baby
