ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. yes wear babies pure cotton clothes, which are light, soft and non irritant to skin. if using diapers , give diaper free time daily. ac at temperature 24 to 26 degrees is fine.avoid direct ac air blast on baby. check baby's palms and soles to have an idea whether he is cold or not. if in ac , baby should have 1 additional layer to what you are wearing. if not in ac. simple cotton clothes are fine.swaddle with light cotton blanket if you want.

Vritika AroraMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy7 years agoA. In summer Dress your baby according to the weather. Avoid using powder and bathing the baby twice will help the baby to remain fresh. Massage your baby daily with coconut oil and wipe the excess oil after massage. Use disposable diapers only when needed. Apply coconut oil before putting the diaper. Use mosquito repellent roll on to avoid mosquito bites. Use mosquito nets to cover the baby when he is sleeping. Avoid washing of hair regularly and comb the hair with soft brush to remove tangles. 0-6 months old baby should be fed frequently. Foods like yogurt watermelon cucumber custard coconut water should be given to the baby above 1 year of age. Use ac at normal room temperature. Avoid using too much products on baby's skin. Often clean baby's toys. Switch to cloth diapers during the daytime. Use sunscreen before going out. Keep the baby well hydrated.
