Q.

why the mucus from nose is red in colour? is it because he had congestion and couldn't breath from nose so now there is pressure created which led to this?

A. there is soft tissue enlargement in nose because of which I think there was alot problem to breath in the start he was breathing from mouth throughout the day but now it is like he breath from the nose in a day and at night sometimes. Is this because of continuous cold/congestion that he has? what shoul be done, please advise

A. due to excoriation of skin due to rubbing This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child. For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold) Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every three hourly for nasal congestion and block. For wet coughing you can give syrup ascoril LS 5ml twice daily to the child Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing For fever and pain give paracetamol Go for home remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day. Give warm water to drink.
