why some crusty scales (like dandruff)are formed over my baby's head? how can I prevent that?

Akhitha Ramesh DevanapalliMom of a 1 yr old girl2 weeks agoA. that is called cradle cap and is very normal in newborn babies donot try to manually remove it or comb it out it will gradually clear up spoo shampoo are usually recommended for better results

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Dandruff is mostly because of dead skin over the scalp which can lead to itchy skin . It could be because of some pathological conditions too. Common causes are improper shampooing malnutrition ftungal growth sensitivity to hair products sebborrhoic dermatitis . Properd care is required with medicated shampoo maintain a good hygiene and proper hfydration . Consult a doctor for more severe condition .
