why my baby poop once in 3 days

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 10 days also.
Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal.
You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not worry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.
please note that intebrmittent crying that you see might be due to colic pain and not due to constipation.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. If your baby is only being breastfed or chestfed they may not poop every day. This is because their body can use up almost all the components of breast milk for nutrition and there is very little left that needs to be eliminated.
