Why does my baby keep startling during sleep and even in awake?

ExpertDr Priyashree Mukherjee ChakrabortyPaediatrician6 years agoA. hello dear. this is a normal startling reflex of a baby nothing to worry about it. babies do get startled in the middle of the sleep by sound or a dreams .there is nothing we can do except for holding them or fondling then if they start crying.
