Q.

Why does my 4weeks baby grunts and squrims everytime. I feel if he is in pain or something because the noise makes me feel bad. During feeding he sleeps immediately but after keeping in bed he awakes. What problem he is having can anyone suggest.

A. dear mum although it may sound strange but baby making grunting sounds and squirming is absolutely normal if baby is passing urine six to eight times in 24 hours is active alert and gaining adequate weight at least 500 gram per month then do not worry

A. Thank you for your response... yes he does toilet alot but why he puts pressure everytime while pooping or passing gas most of the time he makes sounds which I feel that he is having some pain in stomach..He couldnt sleep when making such sounds he awakes suddenly while he is in sleep.....
