why do my 5 months old baby does not sleep for long time - sleeping duration is 45min 1 hour only

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello , your baby boy is 4 months old and he doesn’t sleep for long spells so see if he gets enough breast milk feeding and comfortable sleeping conditions as well

Sleep Cycle in smaller babies is very different and they have a certain pattern initially which becomes regularize at around 6 to 8 months of age and if the baby is g comfortable with no irritability because of infantile colic nasal blockage any regurgitation etc you should not worry just give a comfortable position to the baby and no medifdcine is required.

Maybe Your child is a light sleeper which is why this is happening I’m just going to tell you as of now that use earplugs into the ears of your child maybe that will make your child sleep for a longer time try this otherwise if you require you can consult your doctor ones
