Q.
Why do Indian parents fill their babies' eyes with kohl (kajal)? Is applying kajal good for babies? As i have read so many articles related to the same but there is no proven fact. I willingly wish to understand the truth behind this. strongly no or strongly yes.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. hi it is are strongly know Kajal should not be applied because they contain carbon content will irritate the eyes and can result in infection of moreover there is also the risk of transmitting the infection from your fingertip in the eyes while you apply Kajal . market broad Kajal contain high levels of lead
