A. major of the infection are viral origin in such cases you don't need antibiotics antibiotics are giving for bacterial infection maintain hygiene in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration

antibiotics can have side effects so it is better to avoid giving it.
if it is necessary and if it is Prescribed by your pediatrician then give it as per doctor's Prescription only.
