Q.

while touching forehead it is normal but when checking under neck it is very hot and whole body is hot then while checking through thermometer it is 101 under armpit.

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as thre first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if fever is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. hi dear mom..the thermometer shows correctly..always use digital thermometer..you can use Babyhug thermometer. give prescribed medication to baby. avoid self medication. happy parenting
